Thunderbird will then ask for permission to manage your email. Click Next and enter your password to sign in. Thunderbird will then open a Google Sign-in window. In the window that comes up enter your email address and password and click Continue. In Account Settings, click on the drop down menu that reads Account Actions and select Add Mail Account. If the Incompatible Add-on window is displayed, select the add-ons you use and click Check Now to check if there are compatible versions of the add-ons available.
